Landlubbers Set Sail on Gloucester Harbor

On Friday afternoon, Team MCLD took a short, but much needed, break to celebrate the warm weather and to say “bon voyage” to our own Julia Rose Sim. Julia Rose is heading to Europe this fall to pursue a master’s degree at University College of London. To mark the occasion, we knew we had to give her a proper send off, so we set sail on the 90-year-old, National Historic Landmark schooner “Adventure,” to watch the sun set over Gloucester Harbor. It was a dazzling night filled with food, drinks, fun, and laughter. This was everyone’s first time on this ship, but I don’t think it will be the last.

All of us here at MCLD are grateful for your contributions, Julia Rose, and we’re sad to see you go. The office won’t be the same, and neither will the UK. Don’t forget to visit us all when you come home. 🙂
