Small Treasure: MCLD’s "Longwood Garden" Receives Press in NEH

We are delighted to share very exciting news that our “Longwood Garden” project in Brookline, Massachusetts has received press in the 2014 November/December issue of New England Home magazine! “Small Treasure,” thoughtfully written by Paula M. Bodah, provides a focused description of the new landscape from the homeowner’s perspective—especially as it relates to their goal of creating a non-fussy, yet vibrant urban lifestyle.

The garden has been warmly received by the Boston Society of Landscape Architects and won a 2014 Merit Award for Residential Design; it was also celebrated as a 2014 “Suburbia Transformed 3.0” award-winner from the James Rose Center in Ridgewood, New Jersey. MCLD enjoyed a great collaboration with the homeowners and the architects, Stern McCafferty Architecture and Interiors, and we are thankful to have been part of such a great team. A huge thanks goes to Martin Lucyk Landscape Construction for their commitment towards building the garden, as well as to Brite Builders for their efforts to create such a special home. Last but not least, thank you New England Home for showing our work off to your audience in this issue!
