Houzz.com Features MCLD's "Belmont Hill Residence"

Becky Harris, a writer from Houzz.com, has written another feature piece on one of MCLD’s landscapes!  The article, “Garden Tour: Colorful, Serene Woodland Near Boston,” tells a terrific story about our award-winning project, the “Belmont Hill Residence.”  Photos from this garden were also featured in a couple other recent Houzz.com posts: “Lay of the Landscape: Natural Garden Style,” and “Lessons From Monet’s Garden.”

Every garden I create is special to me, but this one is particularly dear to my heart because it was one the first gardens I created after I began my practice in 2004—it was also the first project I won a Merit Award for from the Boston Society of Landscape Architects, and it was also the very first garden I was able to build with my good friends from Gardenform.  Since then we have built more than a dozen landscapes together…  The clients who own this property have become great friends, and it has been a real treat to watch the garden evolve and mature over the years!
