MCLD Welcomes Julia Rose Sim to Our Team!

We are extremely excited to announce the addition of a very talented intern to our team through September!  Maine native, Julia Rose Sim, recently completed her undergraduate degree in landscape architecture from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where she was awarded the prestigious 2013 ASLA Certificate of Honor for Academic Excellence.  Her diverse academic background includes studies in art history and studio art at Mount Holyoke College, as well as a summer architecture study at Parsons School of Design in New York City.

Julia has completed internships at The Berkshire Design Group in Northampton, MA, and Fuss & O’Neill in Trumbull, CT, where she contributed to preparing construction documentation, grant writing, schematic design, and hand rendering.  Her portfolio is filled with a great range of project scales and types, and she is eager to dive into the residential design realm over the next several months.  We’ve got lots of exciting work in design and construction this summer that we are looking forward to having her be a part of—welcome Julia!
