"Longwood Garden" Receives 2014 BSLA Merit Award!

We proudly announce that our “Longwood Garden” has received a Merit Award from the Boston Society of Landscape Architects in their 2014 Professional Awards Program!  Only 6 awards were given in the Residential and Garden Design category this year, and we are thrilled to have our work recognized next to such an impressive group of our peers.  

There are many people to thank for the success of this project—first, the clients are fantastic people and it was a pleasure to work with them to create the landscape of their dreams.  Second, we would like to extend our appreciation to the folks at Stern McCafferty Architects and Interiors for an inspired collaboration, (and for designing such a wonderful new home)!  Last but not least, we would like to send a hearty congratulations and thank you to Martin Lucyk Landscape Construction and his team for working with us to create such a dazzling garden!

The Annual BSLA Gala will be held on May 1st in Cambridge, where in addition to receiving our award, we will also be celebrating our teammate Julia Rose Sim’s BSLA Honor Award for her contribution to student work in the 2012/2013 University of Massachusetts undergraduate studio: “From Crossroads to Center.”  Congratulations again everyone, we look forward to the celebration!
