Rare Sighting of Elusive Urban Pink Flamingo!

When I first arrived to work early this morning, I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me, or that this awful drought had finally tipped me over the edge. We find all kinds of things in our window boxes—from cigarette butts and empty whiskey bottles, to aphids and of course, flowers. But, if you look very carefully, I was able to catch a glimpse of the RARE and ELUSIVE urban pink flamingo! Imagine that, right here in the heart of Stoneham! Who knew these beautiful birds liked hakonechloa, gaura, and strobilanthes?

A big thanks goes out to whoever did this overnight prank. This guy might just become a permanent fixture!  : )
