BRICK ENDS FARM

SOUTH HAMILTON, MASSACHUSETTS

Dramatic woodlands, verdant rolling hillsides, and historic farmsteads have long anchored the equestrian communities of Massachusetts’ North Shore. Narrow country roads weave through an intricate web of old fieldstone farm walls, past rambling antique farmhouses, and around ancient sculptural trees that have stood for centuries. Moving through the area’s rural countryside is like stepping back in time.

At the end of a winding gravel road, a meticulously restored 1740’s home and outbuildings command 30+ acres alongside Bradley Palmer State Park. On the east edge of the property, mature oaks, maples, hemlocks, and pines filter morning sunlight that has illuminated the home’s simple brick façade for generations. Dense hedgerows, orchards, and a curated grove of established specimen trees create shade and scale, standing in contrast to open and expansive fields, grazing paddocks, and a pond, firmly anchoring the site to its historic agrarian context. New domestic programming is carefully choreographed within the parcel’s established seasonal rhythms, and outdoor spaces are strategically positioned to celebrate vibrantly animated viewsheds, presenting incredible opportunities for gracious bucolic living.
