The thoughtful renovation of a simple brick colonial in Newton triggered the addition of an elegant new covered entry porch and sculptural, oval walkway to connect guests from the sidewalk and driveway towards the front door. A mature Japanese maple is relocated to one side of the home and becomes a wonderful, multi-seasonal anchor for the facade. Low maintenance shrubs and perennials surround the entry garden and present a welcoming sense of arrival throughout every changing season.
